In Production: Championship Road: James goes to the 2024 WSBG

The road to becoming a champion is tough.

I'm excited to announce a new micro-documentary project from Astro Turtle Productions: Championship Road: James goes to the 2024 WSBG. Please follow along as I enter two contests in this year's third annual World Series of Board Gaming in Las Vegas, Nevada!

So what's a micro-documentary? I plan to discover as well. But for now, it means sharing my journey in bite sized pieces. At least, that was the intent.

I'm quickly discovering that social media style is not a medium that's well suited for doing a deep dive in the way I'd like to communicate information. Thus, the project sort of stands in between this goal I had at the onset, and simply being an experiment in free expression.

That's the thing about documentaries, right? Sometimes, they don't turn out like you had intended. It's been interesting to see the idea take shape and I'm scurrying to hit my quota of a video a day until the actual event on the 22nd.

You heard me right. We'll be releasing a video a day in the runup to the event! Keep an eye out on Instagram or YouTube.
